my Bike $804. dollars..Disc brakes don’t work that well downhill. front and back disc brakes. I’m not sure if I like Disc brakes. I’m use to rim brakes.they slip a lot. any help what can I do?
how tight should the caliper bolts be i just sent my new bike back in cause the top caliper bolt was shaved to bits i was getting disk rub so i went to adjust and noticed the screw was just free spinning in the housing . im pissed of this should have been checked before the bike was.given to me

It works! You might lose up to 4-5% of breaking power, but it’s a good way to get rid of the noise before further adjustments/cleaning.

oil spilled out of my bike and now my brakes have no pressure, also theres still friction between the pads and disc! HELP!
